Our aims as a support group are to offer support to sufferers of this chronic pain condition, to raise awareness of the difficulties we all face on a day-to-day basis and to get the help and recognition that so many feel they need. We offer a telephone helpline; the details for which can be found under the contacts heading at the top of this page.
We send our newsletter out three times per year and it is always an excellent read. A great deal of time, research and preparation is put into this publication for the group's benefit. Any contributions to this and indeed, to this website, are always much appreciated.
We like to keep meetings on an informal basis, so that we can all chat. Although times are given for the meetings, these are for guidance. You can stay for as short or as long a time as you would like to, Most importantly, we aim to keep as upbeat as possible, so that we all go home feeling that it was more beneficial to have gone out than it would have been to stay at home!

We are a support group that covers Norfolk and the surrounding counties which border Norfolk. We are committee run and we hold monthly meetings; details of which can be found on the "Events" page. Details of upcoming meetings will also be found in the newsletter sent out to members or a committee member can also help with any queries.
We encourage people to join our group once they have attended a meeting or two. A member's carer is entitled to free membership. An annual subscription is due annually at the beginning of the year and is reduced for members joining for only part of the year. We hold our AGM in a rented hall and the subscriptions help to cover the costs incurred for this. Details appear in the newsletter sent out approximately two weeks prior to the meeting and, of course, on this website. We aim to invite a speaker, who may be somebody from the medical profession or an alternative therapist. If you would like to suggest a speaker, please speak to a member of the committee.
